Dengue Cases Continue to Rise in Mindanao in 2025

The Department of Health (DOH) has reported a concerning increase in dengue cases and deaths across Mindanao during the first half of 2025.


Overall Situation (January–June 2025)
  • Total deaths: 70

  • Soccsksargen: 9,042 cases | 32 deaths

  • Northern Mindanao: 8,485 cases | 38 deaths


Regional Breakdown
Soccsksargen
  • Dengue cases increased 44% compared to 2024.

  • Cotabato province recorded the highest number of both cases and deaths:

    • 3,541 cases

    • 15 deaths

Northern Mindanao
  • Dengue cases rose 35% compared to 2024.

  • Bukidnon province accounted for 39% of the region’s total cases.
